Ed Here we are, start the new year and the beginning BeeFree really great!

The occasion is the Born To Play indoor tournament organized by the team of the Bolognese CUSB.

It starts Friday night between the usual delays and considerable fog that accompanies us throughout the crossing of the Po Valley. The group, composed of Albi, Davidao, Moon, Andrea, Henry, Rita, Mark and Silvio, there is optimism, there are all the guys who have not stopped training between December and January, despite the snow, the cold and the holidays Christmas.

Saturday morning, you start to play! We are in the group with the Flying Circus of Innsbruck, the Pampers Rimini, the Bomberos of Bologna, Modena and the Pirates of Viareggio Discostu.

The first game is in fact against the Flying Circus, a lot more experienced than us, but perhaps with less physical condition, two under the cap at the time we can hold out and score three consecutive points in the game catching up!

Then you play against Bologna and Rimini, games prohibitive for us, you know. However, we do not play badly against Bologna, but the result hangs in their favor for the whole game, against the Pampers instead, perhaps demoralized from the accident of Rita, (which fortunately will recover quickly) make a really bad game without much conviction.

In the afternoon we play two big games, because if we win would secure a place in the silver pool, and even the recovery game for the gold pool. Both play well and win enough so we are clearly in the third round. We play the recovery game against the Funky Bischi to access the gold pool, despite a beginning encouraging a certain extent their technical superiority can be heard, they give us back 2 or 3 points with a couple of fags bad and there does not recover.

All so happy to have seen a very close-knit team, two girls who played the entire tournament without replacement without a shot being fired (big Rita and Luna!), And Andre icing on the cake that wins the award for best player tournament! (And I would like to see well after what he did!).

"Going to this tournament I did not know what to expect. beach tournaments in the states are for drinking, parting, and doing cool shit in the sand. In good fashion Brought the two American friends, co-ops and kyle, and stayed out the first night till 4 in the morning and then woke up at 8 thinking we had to play at 9. To coop and my disliking we should up at the fields hung over and no one was there. We proceeded to get two bottles of gin and a bunch of tonic and Gatorade. Gatorade and gin is great for beach ultimate because it gets you crunked and hydrates you. As for the ultimate it seemed as if we were a little out matched all tourney. However i did think we could step up our play at any moment and win but with stupid mistakes, wind problems, and drunk Americans it was hard to succeed. Our outcome on the field was not that good but we did make up for it by winning the party and the town. This included, coop passing out every night at the bar or restaurant, us doing karaoke while yelling out the window at Henry and crew, and a great last night with dancing and Almost skinny dipping in the pool. Many other great things Happened, Alexander hit a women in the next with a surf board and we Wore The Same Hawaiian shirts THE ENTIRE trip day and night. There Were many memories and will not be forgot. I plan on going to the tourney again in the near future. "
